October 24, 2018

This week was crazy, not too much has happened, i became mission president so that was cool. We got the new assistant monday, his name is Elder Mendez. he is from DF, he is fun. We havent left the offices since last Pday, sunday we went to church, went to eat, then had to do the transfers, we read all the missionaries applications (like the huge stack of missiona papers) that they send for the new missionaries coming to try to get a read on them. The best looking missionary sprained his ankle in the MTC and its looking like he is going to go home to heal. idiot. monday we had a meeting with president for the transfers, it was weird because we didnt pray again, we pray when we start, and then we pray transfer day to close them to know that we did what Jesus wants us to do, but like to start and finish the day we never pray, which is weird to me, but he was a 70 so who am i to judge, maybe thats how you are supposed to do things. After we are just doing a fat ton of office stuff to get things ready for the transfers and to teach the new assistant whatsup. Also there was a fat hurricane and president is in DF so according to the manual us 3 became mission presidents, we evacuated a couple areas. One of the missionaries was a branch president and he stayed in his area to prepare his branch instead of leaving, he bought food and water for them and helped tie down everything and board up their houses. that was neat. But now we have all the elders together in 2 different areas and they are putting sandbags on the river because everything is flooding. Thats another reason why we havent been able to leave the offices much because we are watching the hurricane and salt lake is calling us a lot and i have to take all the calls because im the only one who speaks english. It has been a kinda eventful couple days but we havent done tons of missionary work which is lame. Love you momma, catch ya next week
